The Historical Society and Museum for the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection has four classes of membership.

Directors/Officers, Supporting Members, General Members and Corporate Membership.

Directors/Officers must be current or retired employees of the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.
                          
Supporting members are current or retired employees of the Californiia Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.
                          
General members are those individuals, other than current or retired  CDFFP employees, who wish to participate in the  Museum by maintaining annual membership. 
                         
Businesses or Corporations may support of the Museum as outlined in the Museum Participation Program.   

Museum Patron Levels

CDF Museum Patrons are identified, at various levels, by the following “old” fireline organization titles.  Dues may be paid by cash, check or various payroll deduction programs. 
Levels of donations and benefits are as follows:

Crew Boss 

$24 annually or $2 monthly
• Thank you note
• Quarterly newsletter
• Name recognition in the Museum newsletter

Sector Boss

$60 annually or $5 monthly
• Thank you note
• Quarterly newsletter
• Name recognition in the Museum newsletter

Division Boss

$100 - $499
• Thank you letter
• Quarterly newsletter
• Name recognition in the Museum newsletter
• Name plate on the Division Boss donors panel in the Museum

Line Boss

$500 - $999

• Thank you letter
• Quarterly newsletter
• Name recognition in the Museum newsletter and Museum Website
• Name on the Line Boss donors panel in the Museum

Fire Boss

$1000 – $4999

• Thank you letter
• Quarterly newsletter
• Name recognition in the Museum newsletter and Museum  Website
• Name plate on the Fire boss donors panel in the Museum

Ranger

$5000 – up
• Thank you letter
• Quarterly newsletter
• Name recognition in the Museum newsletter and Museum Website
• Name on plaque on the Rangers Wall in the Museum lobby
• Special invitation to Museum events

ACCUMULATIVE DONATIONS

Patron’s levels will be accumulative over time.  As higher levels of donations are reached, the donors name will be moved to the appropriate donors’ panel.
